openskies.jpgOpenSkies Airlines, a subsidiary of British Airways, is offering an introductory special to promote their new flights from NYC to Amsterdam beginning October 15. At this time they fly only between NYC and Paris.

The introductory pricing offers Prem+ seating starting at only $746 RT* , but you must book by August 20.

They are also offering an airfare special to Paris:  Prem + seating for $841 RT*

To distinguish themselves, OpenSkies offers premium service, world-class meal selections, a personal entertainment system, and even delicious wines - no matter where you sit. They offer three classes of service: Business, offering 24 seats that recline to a 180 degree flatbed; Prem+ with 28 seats that  recline to 140° with a 52″ seat pitch–12″ more legroom than comparable “premium economy” offerings on the North Atlantic; and Economy with 3o comfortable, leather seats.

By the end of 2009, they plan to offer non-stop flights from Continental European cities such as Paris, Brussels, Milan, Frankfurt and Amsterdam to New York using fuel-efficient Boeing 757 aircraft.  For passenger comfort, they have reduced the standard 180 seat configuration to 82 passengers per flight.
