About Belfast
Because of the industrial Revolution Belfast was once a city of wealth. Belfast's economy has suffered economically from the decline of industry and because of "the Troubles" but since peace has prevailed Belfast has flourished.
This friendly city has lots to show including St Anne's Cathedral, the Grand Opera house, and the Albert Memorial Clock Tower. At the center of Belfast is the triumphant Victorian City Hall, both the focal point of the city and its best orientation point. Around the City Hall is Donegall Square, the very heart of the city, and one of the few green spaces in the center of Belfast.
