I would like to suggest the Stile Mediterraneo Cooking School in Puglia run by the two sisters Cinzia & Marika (who is also a Cardiologist). Cooking courses focus on the healthy Mediterranean cuisine of Puglia featuring the preparation of simple recipes but very delicious because based on wonderful seasonal ingredients grown in Puglia. Classes are hands on and include visits to local markets and farmers. (www.stilemediterraneo.it)

My mother and I spent a fantastic week at the Organic Tuscany cooking school last summer (www.organictuscany.org), The courses are run by Shilpa and Riccardo and I learned a lot on how to prepare hearty and delicious Italian dishes (my favourite recipe was a pepper soup). We stayed at a beautiful tuscan villa with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In addition to the classes there was oil and wine tasting sessions, visits to local organic farms and guided tours to Florence and Siena. Please consider Organic Tuscany if you are looking for an authentic and tasty holiday to Tuscany.
