Jen Westmoreland Bouchard

A curious traveler, intrepid writer and translator, insatiable foodie, literary junkie and international film and art aficionado, Jen holds a B.A. in French and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts from St. Olaf College (Northfield, Minnesota), a Diploma of French Studies from Université de Rennes II (France), and a M.A. in French and Francophone Studies from University of California-Los Angeles. She’s been fortunate to travel throughout over 20 countries on 4 continents.

Jen’s recent projects include editing an anthology she conceptualized entitled (In)Scribing Gender: International Female Writers and The Creative Process (forthcoming, Diversion Press), freelance arts writing for The Kennedy Center, dreaming up personal travel essays for Border Hopping (www.borderhopping.net) and, of course, contributing a variety of travel posts to EuropeUpClose.com. She is the author of “Minneapolis/St. Paul for Foodies” for iPhone/iPad (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/minneapolis-st-paul-for-foodies/id393988630?mt=8).

Jen is the owner of a freelance writing, editing and translation company, Lucidité Writing, LLC (www.luciditewriting.com) When she’s not galavanting around the world collecting literary and journalistic fodder, Jen writes daily from her home in Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA).
