Jen Westmoreland Bouchard

A curious traveler, intrepid writer and translator, insatiable foodie, literary junkie and international film and art aficionado, Jen holds a B.A. in French and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts from St. Olaf College (Northfield, Minnesota), a Diploma of French Studies from Université de Rennes II (France), and a M.A. in French and Francophone Studies from University of California-Los Angeles. She’s been fortunate to travel throughout over 20 countries on 4 continents.

Jen’s recent projects include editing an anthology she conceptualized entitled (In)Scribing Gender: International Female Writers and The Creative Process (forthcoming, Diversion Press), freelance arts writing for The Kennedy Center, dreaming up personal travel essays for Border Hopping ( and, of course, contributing a variety of travel posts to She is the author of “Minneapolis/St. Paul for Foodies” for iPhone/iPad (
