Central Rome Hotel Recommendations

 

Here’s our list of favorite central Rome hotels at every price level. Although Rome, the city of love and “La Dolce Vita” has a vast array of hotels from which to choose, we recommend hotels that are located in central Rome, so you can walk to most attractions and take a bus or the metro to others.

Sofitel RomaWe love Sofitel Hotels and this one was named Best Luxury Hotel in Rome – 2008, by readers of TripAdvisor. It is located near the Spanish Steps (in our opinion, the best hotel location in Rome.)

Designed in Roman Neoclassical style, this Rome four-star hotel offers 113 rooms and four suites with private terraces. The Bar & Lounge ” La Bella Vista” located on the top floor of the hotel with stunning panoramic views of Rome.

Capo D’Africa

Capo D’AfricaThis hotel is located near the Coliseum and the Roman Forum, but away from the other important Rome attractions (easily accessed by Metro or buses.)

The rooms are generous size and the decor is Italian Modern. This hotel is a true find, especially if you like modern and unique decor and wonderful service and amenities.

 

Hotel Mediterraneo
