We love Sofitel Hotels and this one was named Best Luxury Hotel in Rome – 2008, by readers of TripAdvisor. It is located near the Spanish Steps (in our opinion, the best hotel location in Rome.)
Designed in Roman Neoclassical style, this Rome four-star hotel offers 113 rooms and four suites with private terraces. The Bar & Lounge ” La Bella Vista” located on the top floor of the hotel with stunning panoramic views of Rome.
This hotel is located near the Coliseum and the Roman Forum, but away from the other important Rome attractions (easily accessed by Metro or buses.)
The rooms are generous size and the decor is Italian Modern. This hotel is a true find, especially if you like modern and unique decor and wonderful service and amenities.
The Mediterraneo is located at the center of the city on the Esquilino Hill, the roof garden “La Terrazza”, open all year long, has a panoramic view of Rome.
The rooms have all the modern conveniences including air conditioning. The Mediterraneo Hotel is a perfectly preserved example of Italian Art Deco with public rooms decorated with mosaics, inlaid panelling and marble busts of Roman Emperors.

Three Star Hotels in Rome
