The BBC has traveled to the Fraunhofer Institute in Duisburg, Germany to see a prototype for the “hotel room of the future.” The room has few hard edges because research shows that guests find curved shapes more relaxing.  The room also allows guests to choose the color of lighting that is most soothing for them.  Some of the many technological features include a voice-activated information panel and an energy bed that can even rock guests to sleep.  Look at this BBC video and see if it looks like somewhere you’d like to stay.  Think white… think round… think weird.
